Whatever you decide, I'm sure it will look gorgeous.
I didn't realise you were in the UK - whereabouts are you? I'm in the North East and I tend to buy from a place called 1st for Fabrics up here - or Dainty Supplies. But also eBay, which is great for basic fabrics and vintage fabrics too.
myfabrics.co.uk has been recommended to me and their fabrics are gorgeous - based in Germany but the shipping isn't too expensive. Haven't tried them yet as my current stash is huge but I'm sure I will at some point. How about you?
Best wishes
DebbieAnonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07968621532089147258noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5268323526060396860.post-83957858476553440712012-12-16T09:50:32.713+00:002012-12-16T09:50:32.713+00:00Right I see now I'm looking at the plus size c...Right I see now I'm looking at the plus size cloak in October 2012. It's easy now as I want a 40/42, but might put elements of both cloaks in my project, though the photo of the short cape is rather cool in that fake leather...oh dear what to do....
Keep up the good work. Great to know of someone else in the UK who sews clothes. Where do you get your fabrics from?
All the best
Mariannemariannehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07497183594833703808noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5268323526060396860.post-618476956947984572012-12-15T14:52:51.215+00:002012-12-15T14:52:51.215+00:00Hi Marianne

I would have cut a 38 and it's pretty much free size apart from on the shoulders, so I would maybe extend out from the shoulder, making the cape slightly wider but following the basic shape of the orginal curve - does that make sense? It should be very easy to do.
Hope that helps you :)
Best wishes
DebbieAnonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07968621532089147258noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5268323526060396860.post-56193527896034257822012-12-15T09:18:34.354+00:002012-12-15T09:18:34.354+00:00Really interesting.
